I hope you break your fucking leg again Judas.
Wooohoo!
Footy season starts this Friday (for Bulldog fans anyway), and I can hardly wait. We open the season against those scum sucking pieces of filth…Richmond. And I'd really love to see that fucking little ass-pumper Nathan Brown break that gammy fucking leg of his again…..And I know what your gonna say.."Jeez man, that's a bit harsh", well maybe it is. But I'm from the old school kid, and team loyalty is everything as far as I'm concerned….so fuck him!.
It's also Craig's birthday, so dont forget to give props and show the big fella some respeck!……peace out.
Prepare to die, you lame fuckers.

Look Who's Toxic are starting the process of writing our new album, starting TONIGHTA!. We really gonna fuck some shit up!
I'm picking up my copy of Encino Man Thursday night, awesome movie watching will be done. "Weez'n the joo-ooce". I was thinking about going to see the great man himself (Pauly Shore) next month, although it is $49.50, and it is at the bowles of hell (Crown). If I can talk Craig into going, I think I'll do it.
Am I strange?
Do you think it's strange, that after having the urge to watch the delightfully average early 90's frolic "Encino Man" late yesterday afternoon, that I quickly drove down to JB Hifi at 6:00 to try and buy it?.
A battle cry for the revolution.
A freind of ours (Hayso) posted on his blog about a gig his band (The Sleepless Immigrants) did with a band that he thought “sucked”. This generated an angry and child like response from the band in question, the somewhat sycophantical “Kathematics”, headed by a delusional nonstarter named….Kath. So naturally I took umbrage at these feeble and insiped whining’s. The way I see it is…..if your in a band and you can’t take negative feedback, criticism and or shit, then maybe you should be doing something a little less creative. When your playing music, your wide open to receive assessment, critique, eveluation, opinion etc, etc,… that is unfavourable. …..probably more than any other activity you can undertake. So take it on the chin and get on with it, you fucking tards!. Go and fucking repair photocopiers or something if your that fucking sensitive, or go back to Uni and take “Feminist Stuidies”…oh but fuck!, you probably already have..with honers.
Anyway…that’s not what really pissed me off. It was the spineless P.C. rhetoric that came from the people I know, trust, and love. See below. (sorry guy’s was that too harsh…..). I mean fuck!, what have we become?. Say what you think, believe in what you say, and never fucking back down in the face of these empty, faithless culture clones. The internet was created (I think) for people to exchange thoughts and ideas in an unrestrained and uncencored fashion, for people to absorb or recant at their own will. And a blog, is the perfect example. An online diary for people to proclaim their thoughts and feelings for all to see, and that’s why people have blogs, so people can hear their voice. The idea of someone coming down on someone for voicing their opinion, makes me fucking sick!. If you don’t like someone calling your band shit, come up with a case. Don’t just complain that someone expressed that opinion. Tell em’ their wrong, stand up for yourself!.
People have to re-learn to stand up for what they believe, forget what the education system and TV have fucking pounded into you your whole life. As someone a lot cooler than me once said “It’s better to die on you feet, than to live on your knees”.
FUCK YEA!
original posting from Craig’s blog.
Responsibility March 22, 2006
Recently, Hayso wrote a rather blunt opinion of a band his band played with. There was a rather nasty reply from the other band, which led to Hayso apologising, which led to Neil getting angry, which led Hayso to ponder whether he should be a prick or not.
In my opinion, it’s the responsibility of anyone who writes anything on the internet to be very thoughtful about the words they choose. Once you click that Submit button (or type mput *.html if you’re old school), those words become part of the public domain. Even if you delete them from their original source, chances are that a copy still exists in Google’s cache, the Internet Archive, RSS readers, and so on, and people are going to be able to find them.
I’m not saying that you shouldn’t express an opinion. I encourage that. I’m just saying that you should exercise a little editorial control. If you couldn’t be bothered, maybe the opinion just isn’t well formed enough to be comitted to public record.

- I like your thought process on this – I will take more responsibility from now on though
- 2. neil – March 23, 2006[Edit]
- What the hell are you talking about Anderson? I thought the internet was there for people to express and exchange ideas and thoughts, in a totally free and un-restrained enviroment. People are aware that their words are there for everyone to see, thats why they put them there. So why should we “exercise a little editorial control” ?, thats for the mainstream media to do. I am continually supprised and disappointed by your retro conservative thinking Anderson.
- 3. Craig Anderson – March 23, 2006[Edit]
- I’m not saying don’t express your ideas. I’m saying be careful that you mean the words that you choose.
- 4. neil – March 23, 2006[Edit]
- That’s a fair call. Your alright Anderson. I don’t care what all those other people say.
- 5. Andrew – March 23, 2006[Edit]
- “be careful that you mean the words that you choose”Those are words to live by. Remember on the web if you say “gee I saw this band support Toxic last night and gee they sucked balls” you better be able to back yourself up, and your much better off if you says “the band I saw sucked balls because their guitarist was constantly out of tune and I hated their melodies”. It’s less harsh because you’ve explained yourself. But I’d never tell anyone not to tell it how it is. A friend once reviewed a band that supported my band in a harsh way and received a very angry email from that band’s singer. That email rocks and has provided me with much amusement over the last couple of years. I laugh and laugh at his suggesting it is the university music schooling of his band members that matters, not the fact his songs suck balls.
So… um… yeah.
As a band member I’d hate to read “gee, that band really sucked”, I’d want to know why. Was it the songs? The singer? The guitar playing? Did they just find us boring? All of which would be easier to take than “you guys suck”.
- 6. hayso – March 23, 2006[Edit]
- I totally agree with all the above…but in retrospect when I said that they “sucked” i did not think I was writing a review and I definately never expected these guys to actually read my little blog.Maybe I should have explained a little more, but I am no critic and maybe therefore should not being saying anyone “sucked”.I’d also like to note that i thought the sucked in many ways.
1. The show was boring
2. In the middle of the gig the lead singer read a magazine review of themselves…hmmm I wonder if it said bad things
3. The songs were not to my liking
4. Though not necessarily their fault the sound was crap and the levels were off. That said when we played I thought the sound guy did a great job - 7. neil – March 23, 2006[Edit]
- They also call themselves Kathematics, because the singer/guitarist is named Kath. Does she love herself or what. If this is the currant trend,I want the following name changes to take place:
Look Who’s Toxic= Look Who’s Neil
The Sleepless Immigrants=The Sleepless Hayso’s
U2= Ubono
Rolling Stones=Rolling Keith’s
etc,etc…… - 8. Craig Anderson – March 23, 2006[Edit]
- Jesus, you’re bloody kidding me, right? You play in a band called Look Who’s Toxic for christ’s sake — you can’t go around bagging other peoples’ band names.
- 9. neilmoog – March 23, 2006[Edit]
- Yea…..Look Who’s Toxic is real egotistical.
Sure it’s a crap name, but it’s not egotistical (that word again). And Fuck!….you chose it….you clagbag. - 10. Andrew – March 23, 2006[Edit]
- And nothing shits me more than a band who doesn’t understand that most (yes MOST) people will think you’re crap just because. For no other reason other than they don’t like you. And that’s not personal or anything like that, they just don’t like your music. If you can’t understand that, and get upset when someone says you’re crap, then you don’t understand life. Now my personal hatred of [popular artist] is personal, and I’d understand if he got upset at some of the things I’ve said about him. But I hate him for reasons he can’t control and I hate him for the same reason I hate Wolfmother. I think they’re really really really really average and yet they’re held up on this pedestal of genius that I don’t think they deserve and that shits me.
And when I say “i hate them” I don’t really. I hate the hype around them. I don’t hate them personally, and I’d hope they understand that if I said somewhere “gee, I hate blah”.
I guess that’s the sort of case I’d want to think carefully about what I said. I don’t really mean that I HATE them. Make sure you mean what you say.
- 11. neil – March 24, 2006[Edit]
- Now Hayso’s totally removed the whole post and counter post’s.
What is going on here!.
Am I the only one who gives a fuck about being free to say what you want, and not care about what other people think?. What sort of free thinking, modern western men are we?. Are we just here to please and appease other peoples sensitive structures of self-admiration?. Are we going to pacify or assasinate our own opinions and beleifs in order not to offend others?. Are we to affraid to shatter peoples confused and delusional aspirations of fame?.
I’m going to have to seriously re-consider my relationship with all of you. - 12. hayso – March 24, 2006[Edit]
- long live the power and the passion but i have it beaten out of meI’ve copped so much over these two damned letters su i could have used ro but i spelt sucked instead.i am really considering closing my blog all together…there is a thing as free speech but fuck you cop a lot of crap for it and i’m sick of it

STREET PIZZA!

Hey!
Got back from Sydney last night at about 11:00, I'm still really fucked, but It was a pretty good trip. We left at about 8:30 on Saturday morning, even though I didnt get to sleep till about 2:30-3:00 after the Phony gig. Man… I nearly died in that fucking joint, it was that smokey I couldn't breath. Anyway…….Rob got food poisening on the way up at Hole(brook), which was pretty funny. Hole(brook) is also home to Australia's only centre for Photo copies AND Christian outreach. We stopped at the stupid dog on the tuckerbox as well, what a crap fucking souvenier shop they have there…..Craig bought a sticker to put on his van though. We got to Sydney at about 6:00 and checked in to our cheap, cockroach infested Hotel. I took the boys to Dahkni in Glebe Pt road in…..Glebe for dinner, It was just as nice as I remembered, and the guy's loved it. Except Rob, cause it was soon after that he came down with "the sickness". He thought it might have been Dahkni that made him sick, but a punched him in the face and he soon changed his tune. We had a couple of Scooners at the Lansdown and then Matty and I went back to the Hotel, while Rob and Craig hooked up with Jo and Kat. Next morning I got the boys up early and hearded them out to see the sights of Sydney(the harbour). We walked from Central Station down Pitt St to Circular Quay, to get the ferry to Balmain. The boys hadn't been on a ferry, before and i wanted to show them Sydney on the harbour. We got off at Pyrmont Bay and walked up King St to Red Eye Records, I bought a stack of good shit and then it was off to Krispy Kreme on York St. We could smell them being cooked half a block away, and jeez did I get excited. We had a coffee and a couple of round ones, and then headed down to Allans to get some strings for Rob, and go to Red Eye's second hand store as well. From Red Eye, I got: Dinasour Jnr – "the wagon" Sub Pop 7" for about $15, a Tad "live" bootleg 7" for about $5, Mudhoney – "Your gone" 7" on Au-Go-Go $10, Mudhoney- "Let it slide" Sub Pop 7" $10, and Guided by Voices – "back to the lake" 7" $10. I also got the jazz Pavement tribute CD "Gold Sounds". Then we went down to the gig at the Abercrombie. I was a bit scepticle at first, but it turned out to be an awesome show, and we met some really cool people. Also it was the first time I'd played with Kids from Russia, they were really good, and they are good eggs too. I drank alot of scooners on the Sunday night, have I told you how much I love scooners?. Fuck I love scooners, it's the perfect size glass for drinking beer, and I wish we drank scooners in Melbourne. Monday we got up not so early, and went to get some breakfast on King St(Newtown). I had the best bowl of mueslie, yoghurt and fruit I've ever had. Then we had a little bit of time to check another couple of record shops in Newtown before we left. Theres a cool little second hand record store on Wilson St, just off King St Newtown, called Egg Records. They are a little pricey, but they have some good shit. I got Soundgarden's -"room a thousend miles wide" and "H.I.V. Baby" 7" on Sub Pop, and another S/P 7' by the Scud Mountain Boys. I also got the "Glue" 12" on Purple vinyl for about $25. Over all a good weekend for record shopping. After all of that Craig blew a tyre on the M5 on the way out of town, and then couldn't get his mag wheel off. So he had to join the RACV, and then get them to get the NRMA to come out and help him. Rob and I kept ourselves amused the whole trip by shouting out "street pizza", every time we saw a flat dead animal on the road. It was kinda fun, and kinda gross. dropped Rob off at home about 10:00, I got home about 10:45.
End of story….I'm going to sleep know.
Fully sick!
My “deluxe edition” version of the new Mogwai album, Mr Beast just arrived!.
Awesome!
Meet the feeble.
Spent most of the weekend gardening, It’s long overdue, and most bogus. I really fucking hate it, the next place I get is going to have no fucking garden at all. So….I Spent Saturday and Sunday pulling weeds, chopping trees and doing lawn edges. Then Kev and I took it all to the tip, were Kev nearly ended up having a barney with the tip guy over how much a truck full of weeds should cost to dump….answer….$24.
Don’t forget to come down to the Tote tomorrow night (wednesday15th) to see Schottky Noise. We’re playing with Jika & Arkages and I think we’ll be on about 9-9:30. I’m getting really psyched about the Sydney trip this weekend aswell, I was packed like…two weeks ago. I spent yesterday doing a shit load of compilation CD’s for the drive, Rob wont know what to do, there will be so many hella tunes. I’m taking a large cooler bag to bring back as many Krispy Kreme’s as I can fit in it. I shouldn’t, but I will. You see….for those of you who don’t know….Craig (Bass player in Look Who’s Toxic) and I are in a sort of weight lose “competition”, to see who can lose the most weight the quickest…..I think I’m currantly in front. This morning I weighed 112kg’s, I started at 122.7kg’s. I think Craig is about 118kg’s, he had a lot more to lose than me, but he’s lost heaps more so far. GO CRAIG!. It’s more of an “inspire each other” competition, rather than a “the loser is a fat prick” type competition, so it’s a lot healthier than it sounds……sure.
anyway
Over….out.
Hey fuckers!
Well. well well.
I thought I’d try out WordPress as possible new home for my hugely successful and popular web-blog thingy. And with the exception of having no spellchecker, which believe me..I NEED, It seems pretty cool.
It’s turning out to be a fairly busy couple of weeks coming up. Look Who’s Toxic are going up to Sydney on the 18th March for a show with Kids from Russia, we’ve got a gig on the Friday night at Pony also. I wanna try and leave pretty early on the Saturday morning to get to Sydney, but the other guy’s arn’t too keen getting up that early. Schottky Noise have got a gig at the Tote on the wednesday (15th) too, I’m not sure who we’re playing with though, Lee’s been pretty lax on the info.
Milo’s doing pretty well, he’s getting his first tooth coming through. I thought he was a little too young to be getting his first tooth, being only three and a bit months old, but it’s there alright. He’s nearly rolling himself over, so it probably won’t be too long before he’s crawling around trying to eat everthing he can get his little meat hooks on.
Got the new Mudhoney album from Sub Pop yesterday, I was pretty chuffed cause it came signed by the band, and it came with a CD version of the album and a bonus CD EP. I also got “The pigeon is the most popular bird” by Six Finger Satellite on LP, and “The practice of joy before death” by Pond on LP.I’m still waiting for the new Mogwai album from Matador though.
